Heterodox is a word that describes a person (it is an adjective). See Heresy/Heretic
for explanation of the word.
A person who professes to be a Christian yet willingly and knowingly teaches false
doctrine as though it were the truth of God, might be described in this way: ‘That
man is a heretic! He teaches heterodox doctrine concerning the Person of Christ.
That heresy is horribly blasphemous.’
